Melville Intermediate - Fried Bread

This video is something of a work in progress, later in the coming term (its currently the break between term two and term three) we've got the publishing of our tutorial videos for Maori Language Week 2013.  Room Five were looking at doing something special for this year.  We created a series of videos that are currently in production, but as we wanted to ensure that they had been extensively worked and re-worked before they were fully published and uploaded to this page and youtube.

Our Maori Nose Flute (Hongi Ihu) has been finished but we also have videos coming in Poi making.  We've also got a tutorial in the making of Fried Bread.  As an example of this the students of Room Two spent the last day of school having several special activities - one of which was Fried Bread making.  Whaea Dianne made thesee in class for students.  Filmed by Daniel from Room Five in Room Two on Friday 12th July 2013.

We've also looked at re-freshing some of our existing online resources.   We're very proud to have class and school material that is consistently rated highly in Google searches and Youtube views.  One of the videos that we're looking at updating is our Rakau series of videos which date back from 2009.  Leseli from Room Six is going to be leading this series of videos - this is her starting of the project, working with Bianca from Room Five.
